extending a practical stroke of operation of a pointing device, e.g., a
computer mouse, by which to manipulate an object, e.g., on a graphical user
interface (GUI).

Long Corner alleged that Sony has directly infringed the ‘483 patent
without permission or authority from it. Long Corner also alleged that Sony is
involved in various business activities such as making, Using, selling,
offering to sell computer systems and computer input devices including a
sensor, a input element(for e.g., Touch Screen) and Auto rotation capability.
Long Corner also adds that it has been damaged by the foregoing acts of
infringement of its patents by the defendant and will continue to be damaged by
such infringement unless enjoined by this Court.
